The deal marks WisdomTree's strategic foray into private asset markets, targeting a high-growth $3.5 trillion U.S. farmland sector and adjacent opportunities in solar, AI data infrastructure, and water.
The transaction is immediately accretive, adding approximately $1.85 billion in assets under management across 545 farmland properties. Ceres' track record—delivering 10.3% net average annual returns since 2007—positions WisdomTree as a potential category leader in this underpenetrated real asset class.
